Atrea & Saracina Tasting and Reception with John Fetzer

We are excited to host our second wine event with John Fetzer, owner of Atrea and Saracina on December 3rd, 2009 from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.

After selling the "Fetzer" brand in the early 90's, John has been developing a boutique line up of outstanding wines that focus on Mendocino varietals, a sense of place, and sustainable viticulture. I was lucky to have been able to work the '09 harvest with Saracina just this past October and I am honored to be able to host him at Pago. He is truly a California wine legend and an incredible guy to boot! I believe this will be his first event with Saracina and Atrea in Salt Lake and should not be missed.

We will be tasting four wines: Saracina Sauvignon Blanc, Atrea "The Choir" White, Saracina Pinot Noir (special order for the event), and Atrea "Old Soul" Red, which will all be paired with a selection of starters from Pago's Executive Chef Mike Richey. This event will be a standing reception to allow guests to mingle, chat with the owner and enjoy great food and wine in a casual environment.
